The mission of the Talley Street Upper Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to provide financial assistance for school activities that support our school’s expeditionary learning objectives, enrich our school culture, and build a sense of community. Thanks to the wonderful support of our students, parents, and community, the Talley PTO has been able to provide community building events, subsidize field trips, purchase replacement headphones for each class, provide yearbook purchasing assistance, purchase garden supplies, purchase lobby furniture for visitors, promote various staff appreciation initiatives, and offer teacher grants. The 2021-2022 school year will continue to present challenges with COVID-19, and the PTO is currently evaluating ways we can help support our students, parents, teachers, and administrators during the school year.  All families with a child at Talley Elementary are automatically a member of the PTO—NO DONATION IS REQUIRED. The Talley PTO is also looking for business sponsors for the 2021-2022 school year. Did you know that we are a registered 501 (c)3 charitable organization?
