Talley’s 1st Annual Literacy Trunk-or-treat

 
 

Communities in Schools Atlanta (CIS) and Talley’s PTO present:

Reading is Lit: a literacy trunk-or-treat festival

Tuesday, October 29 from 5:30-7:30 pm in Talley’s parking lot

Put on your best book character and literacy-themed costumes and get ready for a night of treats and community.

  • Entrance is free but you must register in advance

  • Please bring a new or gently used book (lower elementary reading level) to donate

  • Talley staff and families can register to decorate and host a trunk.

  • We will accept candy donations in the Talley lobby until the event. Trunk hosts can also provide their own.

  • All of Talley’s feeder schools are invited to attend: Glennwood, Clairemont, and Winnona Park

  • We’ll have music and concessions for sale.

  • Contest: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for best costume and best trunk.
